Refund policy

Thank you for shopping with punkoutfit.shop.

This Return and Refund Policy explains the procedures applicable when customers wish to cancel an online order, return goods, report damaged or defective products, request a refund or otherwise exercise applicable consumer rights.

Our customer-service email is:

info@punkoutfit.shop

Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict or replace any statutory right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.

UK Distance-Selling Cancellation Right

If you are a consumer purchasing eligible goods online, UK distance-selling rules generally give you the right to cancel the contract without giving a reason.

For most eligible goods, you have 14 days from the day after you receive the goods to inform us that you wish to cancel.

After notifying us of cancellation, you normally have a further 14 days to send the goods back.

If an order contains multiple items delivered separately, the applicable cancellation period may be calculated according to the statutory rules governing the final delivery of the relevant goods.

How to Request a Cancellation or Return

To exercise your cancellation right or request a return, contact:

Email: info@punkoutfit.shop

Your communication should clearly state that you wish to cancel or return the relevant order.

For efficient processing, please include:

  • Your order number;
  • Your name;
  • The email address used for the order;
  • The product or products concerned;
  • The date the order was received; and
  • A brief explanation where the return relates to damage, defect, incorrect goods or another product problem.

You do not need to provide a reason when exercising a statutory change-of-mind cancellation right.

Customers should contact us before sending goods back so that we can provide the appropriate return instructions.

Do not send a product to an address found independently online or to a manufacturer, supplier, carrier or other third party unless we specifically instruct you to do so.

Condition of Change-of-Mind Returns

Customers may inspect and handle products to the extent reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, in broadly the same manner that would normally be permitted in a physical retail store.

We ask customers to return goods with any accessories, components, manuals and other materials originally supplied where reasonably possible.

A refund may be reduced where permitted by law if the value of returned goods has been diminished because the customer handled them beyond what was reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

Opening ordinary packaging solely to inspect a product will not automatically remove a statutory cancellation right where that right otherwise applies.

Statutory Exceptions to Change-of-Mind Cancellation

The statutory cancellation right does not apply in every circumstance.

Depending on the product and circumstances, exclusions may apply to categories such as:

  • Goods made to the customer's specifications or clearly personalised;
  • Goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly;
  • Sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health-protection or hygiene reasons after the seal has been broken;
  • Sealed audio, video or computer software where the seal has been broken;
  • Newspapers, periodicals or magazines, except certain subscription contracts; and
  • Other goods or services excluded from the statutory cancellation regime.

The existence of a change-of-mind exclusion does not remove statutory rights relating to goods that are faulty, damaged, misdescribed or otherwise non-conforming.

Return Shipping Costs for Change-of-Mind Returns

Unless otherwise stated by us, customers exercising a change-of-mind cancellation right are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods.

Customers should use an appropriate and reasonably secure return method.

We recommend retaining evidence of dispatch until the return and refund have been completed.

If goods are faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described and the customer has a statutory entitlement to a remedy, we will handle necessary return costs according to applicable law.

Faulty, Damaged, Incorrect or Misdescribed Goods

Please contact us promptly if an item:

  • Arrives damaged;
  • Is defective;
  • Is materially different from its description;
  • Is the wrong product;
  • Is missing significant components; or
  • Otherwise fails to meet applicable contractual or statutory standards.

Contact:

info@punkoutfit.shop

Where reasonably necessary, we may ask for photographs, video or other information showing the problem. This is intended to help us assess and resolve the issue efficiently and does not remove statutory rights.

UK law provides separate remedies for goods that are faulty, not as described or otherwise do not conform to the contract.

The Consumer Rights Act 2015 provides, among other remedies, a short-term right to reject qualifying faulty goods, normally within 30 days, and rights to repair or replacement in relevant circumstances. Further remedies may be available if repair or replacement is impossible or unsuccessful.

Nothing in this policy seeks to replace those rights with a more restrictive contractual remedy.

Wrong Item Received

If we send a product different from the product ordered, contact us at:

info@punkoutfit.shop

Please provide your order number and information identifying the item received.

Where an error is attributable to us, we will arrange an appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable law, which may include replacement, return or refund.

Products Damaged During Delivery

If your order arrives visibly damaged, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.

Where available, photographs showing the external packaging, shipping label and affected product can help us investigate the issue with the carrier and resolve the matter efficiently.

Carrier investigations do not remove or suspend statutory rights that you have against us as the seller.

Refund Processing

Where you validly cancel an eligible distance-selling contract and return goods as required, we will process the refund within the period required by applicable law.

For returned goods, UK guidance generally requires reimbursement within 14 days after we receive the goods back or, where applicable, after receiving evidence that the goods were sent back if that occurs earlier.

Refunds will normally be issued using the original payment method unless another lawful method has been expressly agreed.

Once we issue a refund, the time required for the amount to appear in the customer's account may depend on the bank, card issuer, payment processor or other payment provider.

Original Shipping Charges

punkoutfit.shop provides free standard shipping on all orders, so there is ordinarily no standard outbound shipping charge to refund.

Where a customer has paid for an optional delivery service and UK law requires reimbursement of delivery costs following cancellation, reimbursement is generally limited to the cost of the least expensive standard delivery method offered.

Partial Refunds and Diminished Value

Where permitted by law, we may make an appropriate deduction from a change-of-mind refund if returned goods have lost value because of handling beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect them.

Examples may include avoidable damage, significant signs of use, alteration or handling inconsistent with ordinary inspection.

Any deduction will be considered according to the circumstances and applicable law.

This does not permit us to reduce a customer's statutory remedy merely because a product is faulty.

Exchanges

Where practical, we may be able to assist with an exchange for another available product or variant.

Availability cannot be guaranteed.

Where an exchange is not practical, the appropriate return and refund procedure may be used instead.

Nothing concerning exchanges limits a customer's statutory entitlement to a refund, repair, replacement or other remedy where applicable.

Sale and Discounted Products

Products purchased during a promotion, discount event or sale remain subject to applicable statutory consumer rights.

A discounted price does not remove rights concerning faulty, misdescribed or non-conforming goods. UK consumer guidance confirms that sale items have the same statutory refund rights as full-price items.

Order Cancellation Before Dispatch

If you wish to cancel an order before it has been dispatched, contact:

info@punkoutfit.shop

We will make reasonable efforts to stop fulfilment where possible.

Because order processing may begin quickly, we cannot guarantee that a cancellation request received before dispatch can always be intercepted.

If the order has already entered dispatch, applicable post-delivery cancellation and return rights remain available where legally applicable.

Refused or Uncollected Parcels

A parcel being refused, left uncollected or automatically returned by a carrier does not necessarily constitute an effective statutory cancellation notice.

Customers wishing to cancel should contact us clearly at info@punkoutfit.shop so that the cancellation can be properly recorded and handled.

Additional carrier costs arising from circumstances attributable to the customer will only be deducted where permitted by applicable law.

Return Fraud or Abuse

We reserve the right to investigate suspected return fraud, deliberate substitution of products, fabricated claims or other abusive activity.

Nothing in this section permits us to deny a genuine statutory consumer claim merely because additional verification is reasonably required.

Model Cancellation Communication

A customer who wishes to exercise a statutory cancellation right may send the following information by email to info@punkoutfit.shop:

Subject: Notice of Cancellation

“I hereby give notice that I wish to cancel my contract for the purchase of the goods identified in this email. I have included my order number, the date the goods were ordered, the date they were received, my name and the information necessary to identify my order.”

Customers are not required to use this wording provided their communication clearly conveys their decision to cancel.

Statutory Rights

This policy operates alongside the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and other applicable UK consumer legislation.

If any provision of this policy conflicts with a mandatory statutory consumer right, the mandatory statutory right prevails.
